At the time Campbell announced new data in relation to its patents which had been filed previously. As per the data that was released it was shown that the CampbellCell universal donor stem cells help in the reduction of symptoms of schizophrenia.

The reduction was observed in an animal model in which the immune modulation and production of the cytokine brain-derived neurotrophic factors had been stimulated. The President and Chief Executive Officer of Campbell Dr. Thomas Ichim spoke about the latest development as well. He noted that the company had been making substantial progress in its quest to develop biomarker-based tests for suicidal ideations.

However, he went on to add, that in conjunction with that, the company was developing CampbellCell. In this regard it should be noted that schizophrenia is one of the major causes of suicides and is also associated with a large number of immunological problems. The latest announcement from the company could be seen as a step in the right direction. It now remains to be seen if it leads to more attention for the Therapeutic Solutions International stock.
