The company had not been in the news yesterday but earlier in the month on April 3 its spinoff company Campbell Neurosciences made a significant new announcement. Campbell announced that new data that had actually been covered by its previously filed patents had revealed that CampbellCell universal donor stem cells helped in cutting down the symptoms of schizophrenia in an animal model.

It was a significant new announcement from the company and marked a major new milestone. The President and Chief Executive Officer of Campbell Dr. Thomas Ichim spoke about the development as well. He noted that the company was making considerable progress in coming up with biomarker based tests for suicidal ideation. However, concurrently, the company was also working n the development of CampbellCell, which could help patients who may be suffering from different degrees of brain inflammation.
