This morning it may be a good idea for investors to keep an eye on the TPT Global Tech Inc (OTCMKTS:TPTW) stock owing to the announcement from yesterday. The company announced that Information Security and Training (IST), LLC, a business division of its subsidiary unit TPT Strategic Inc, had been awarded a United States Pavement Patching contract worth as much as $518,578.50.

The contract had been awarded by the City of Birmingham in Alabama. The contract had actually begun back in September last year and is ongoing currently. Since then the contract managed to generate billings of as much as $147,000.

As per the terms of the contract, IST is going to be responsible for providing curb and gutter replacement, concrete roadway patching, and asphalt roadway patching across a number of locations across the City of Birmingham. However, that is not all. In addition to that, IST would also provide the City of Birmingham with safety services, quality control, and project management services.

IST has considerable experience in government contracting and that may also have been a reason why the contract was awarded, as per the Chief Executive Officer of TPT Global Tech Stephen Thomas.
